The Leonard N. Stern School of Business Office of Undergraduate Advising is seeking an MBA2 to work as a Graduate Fellow for Fall 2020. The time commitment is 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm) The Graduate Fellow role involves a variety of responsibilities, including: • communicating with undergraduate students and other audiences in person, via phone and email answering academic policy and curriculum related questions, including assisting with quick advising appointments • assist with managing of the front reception desk • administrative and clerical tasks such as scheduling advising appointments, maintaining student records, data entry and spreadsheet management • assisting with event planning and production • developing promotional materials, creative campaigns and publications • overseeing administrative components for a 0.5 credit internship course, including processing of student applications, notifications of class policy, syllabi updates, and inputting grades • other responsibilities as needed. This is a predominantly student facing role. Please note that as we are currently working remotely, you must be comfortable working and receiving training virtually. The ideal candidate has the following skills and attributes: • excellent interpersonal skills • ability to understand and convey School policies • strong communication and organizational skills • an ability to work independently • attention to detail • adaptability and resilience • creativity (PowerPoint experience at a minimum, but familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite [Photoshop, InDesign, etc.] is a plus!) • comfortable working in a fast paced, deadline-focused environment. Applicants must commit to a set weekly schedule for the entirety of the semester. Training will be provided. Compensation is subject to tax withholdings. In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the undergraduate hourly rate is $17.85 and the graduate hourly rate is $28.25. Please see the following websites for more information:
