As part of NYU Stern's commitment to providing a truly global education, students are encouraged to study abroad during their undergraduate experience. Stern's International Business Exchange (IBEX) Program offers a unique cultural immersion experience at some of the world's most prestigious business schools. Stern students attend classes with local students and other exchange students, thus forming lasting relationships with people from all over the world. In addition to all of the personal benefits, IBEX allows students to heighten their global perspective and increase their value in today's international marketplace.
- Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Applicants must also have:
- Strong interest in studying abroad
- Knowledge of IBEX program and desired school
- The ability to take at least 2 elective classes while on IBEX (6-8 credits)
- Completed 64 credits by the end of the semester prior to travel
This application must be submitted online by 12:30pm (New York time) on Monday, November 2, 2020.
Please note: Applicants should select one school as their top choice and may be asked to interview for that location. Applicants must also select a second choice. Additional choices are optional. Once the initial selection process is complete, students who are not placed in their first choice may be considered for placement in their second, third, or fourth choices or other schools where spaces are still available.
In addition to completing the online application, applicants should:
- Submit an unofficial transcript (available on Albert) via email to firstname.lastname@example.org prior to 12:30pm (New York time) on Monday, November 2, 2020. Hard copies will not be accepted. Transfer students without a Stern GPA should submit transcript copies from their previous school.
Complete and submit a Digital Curriculum Worksheet reflecting all of the courses you have taken so far - including what you are taking for this current Fall 2020 term. You will need to submit this via email to email@example.com prior to Monday, November 2 at 12:30pm (New York time).
Please access your Digital Curriculum Worksheet, download it, and either complete it independently or with an adviser. Note that you must download the PDF first - otherwise you will not be able to type in the document from the Google Drive. Handwritten Curriculum Worksheets will not be accepted.
If you would like to complete your Digital Curriculum Worksheet with an Academic Adviser, you must make a 30 minute appointment at least 2 weeks in advance of the November 2 IBEX deadline. You cannot go to a 15 minute Quick Visit Advising Appointment for this.
**Applicants must submit a copy of their unofficial transcript and Digital Curriculum Worksheet via email before 12:30pm (New York time) on Monday, November 2, 2020. These documents can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Late applications and applications missing required information will not be processed.
